What an incredible evening at our first Faith and Family Night with the @jaxshrimp! This past Monday, NE Florida FCA was fortunate to be invited to play in and blessed to be a beneficiary of @vestedmetalsinternational First Annual Charity Golf Tournament. The tournament theme was “The Next Generation,” and it brought together more than 90 golfers—raising more than $60,000 for local charities: THE PLAYERS Championship Boys & Girls Club, Flagler College Cares: Emergency Relief Fund, St. John's Housing Partnership, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Flagler Health Care Foundation, and Adaptive Superstars. Viv Helwig, President and Founder of Vested Metals, created the tournament to commemorate John Mark Leach, a colleague and friend who passed away last year. Helwig said, “I knew that I wanted to do something to commemorate his giving spirit and zest for life. We will host this tournament every year with the goal of raising and donating $1 million to local charities over the next ten years.
