CAMP INFO

  • WHAT IS CAPTAIN’S CAMP?

Captain’s Camp is a place for nominated captains to come together to be trained in how to most effectively lead their team. It is a time of inspiration and perspiration. Captain’s Camp will have a heavy emphasis on competition and the way in which we lead in competition.

  • ARE CAMPERS REQUIRED TO WEAR MASKS?

Face masks, social distancing, and frequent hand washing will be implemented when practical and appropriate. Campers and staff will be required to wear masks whenever indoors, except while eating and sleeping.

SEU is providing a sanitation team to provide an extra level of care to all in attendance.

Check Out will be 11am on Wednesday. Please plan to pick your camper up at 11am at the close of our last session.

  • WHAT HAPPENS IF A CAMPER, HUDDLE LEADER, OR CAMP STAFF TEST POSITIVE?

    • If a Camper, Huddle Leader, or Camp Staff tests positive for COVID-19 or begins showing symptoms while at camp, LLC2021 Camp Administration will isolated said person, and anyone who was in close contact with the affected for 10 minutes or more without a facemask (per the CDC guidelines), parents will be notified and they will be sent home.

    • The Camp Director will inform those who have had close contact with a person diagnosed with COVID-19 and those affected persons will be isolated and sent home and not allowed to return.

    • The affected areas will be closed for 24 hours, then thoroughly disinfected before using it again.

    • We will be keeping parents updated on key decisions regarding changes to our programming and safety protocols. We ask for your patience as processes change accordingly.

  • MY CHILD HAS HEALTH ISSUES, SHOULD THEY ATTEND CAMP?

No one knows your child like you do. We will do everything in our power to minimize the exposure to COVID, but there are certain aspects that we cannot control.

Captain’s Camp has a heavy and intense physical demand. This is why we only take campers who have been nominated by their coach. If for some reason you feel your camper is not able to perform high intensity physical activity, we would encourage you to not sign up your camper for Captain’s Camp.

  • I NEED A SCHOLARSHIP! WHO SHOULD I CONTACT?

Work with your coach who nominated you. They can contact the local FCA staff member to see what might be available for you.

  • DO I NEED TO BRING EXTRA SPENDING MONEY?

There will be a camp store, so you can bring some spending money to purchase camp gear if you would like.

  • PERSONAL TECHNOLOGY POLICY

There will be little time for use of personal technology. While we encourage you to unplug as much as you can during camp, we wont tell you that you can’t bring your personal technology. FCA and our Camp Staff will not be personally responsible for any lost or stolen items.
