David Arist serves as the FCA Sports Director for Northeast Florida, where he combines his lifelong passion for soccer, a deep commitment to youth development, and a heart for ministry. With over two decades of experience spanning athletics, nonprofit leadership, and business development, David brings a unique and impactful perspective to his role at the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, David was a standout soccer player at C. Milton Wright High School and went on to compete at both Harford Community College and Stevenson University. His love for the game translated into a successful coaching career, including college coaching stints at Shepherd University and Flagler College, as well as youth development leadership at Veritas Classical School and other Florida-based youth soccer clubs.
Outside the field, David has led multi-million-dollar fundraising campaigns, served as Executive Director for RAACE (a nonprofit combating child abuse), and worked in corporate sales and sponsorships, most notably with the Baltimore Blast of the Major Indoor Soccer League.
Now based in St. Augustine, David is the proud father of two sons, Max and Leo. He remains deeply engaged in his local community and is an active member of McDowell Baptist Church. Through his work with FCA, David is committed to building a strong, Christ-centered community of athletes and coaches—equipping young men and women to grow in character, leadership, and faith both on and off the field.
